This was Dollys first tour in ten years and her first in Europe since 1983, now thats a long long time to wait. For many fans, this was the first time they had got to see Dolly peform live, including myself. I was lucky enough to get to see 4 shows on this tour, with the DC show being the highlight. On the US leg of the tour Dolly played only 13 dates and in small capacity venues. The Dollywood shows were recorded and were released as the Live and Well DVD and CD set. The shows featured songs throughout her career, but the Bluegrass element from Dollys last few albums was in strong evidence.
