Dolly returned to acting in this ill advised and universally panned comedy, which apart from a limited cinema release in Florida, went straight to video. The movie is in the style of Dumb and Dumber and all the rest of those gross out comedies where sophistication and plot is very much a low priority. Dolly plays the over protective mother of the lead character, Dave Sheridan, who is a insurance claims adjuster. Her role is very much a supporting one and although some reviews slated her acting and the fact she was inappropriately cast, she escaped relatively unscathed. It did however put an end to Dolly’s film career for the rest of this decade.
